Interpretation of Project Brief
The Project brief was to produce a community that could set bench marks for a sustainable and environmentally responsive development.

With the background of green initiatives that are sweeping the real estate industry, i envisage a strong intent to plan and design a community that can respond to the nature, a community that leans towards the sensitivity of low impact on natural recourses locally and off site.

To live harmoniously with the environment.

To produce a development with no impact of wastage on itself or the surroundings.

To produce a culture that respects nature and induces a sense of pride in the users and as a inspiration for others.

Need for a Sustainable Community
With the dwindling natural recourses and a trend to move away from fossil fuels, the current need of the hour has been to find alternatives to plan for developments with low dependency on off site resources.

The current degradation of the environment by unscientific disposal of waste is undergoing a paradigm shift.

The need to not only dispose waste scientifically but also to recycle and reuse the once waste resource takes the burden on infrastructure and works to be economical.

The dependency on energy from the grid is also undergoing change in mindset by trying to produce the necessary energy on site using solar, wind and bio waste.

Standing at this cross roads gives us an opportunity to develop an environment that will be economical, clean and a proud place to live in.
